The Best of Italian Design: SIGNO in Miami
SIGNO in Miami, for the occasion of The Best of Italian Design organized by the Chamber of Commerce Italy-America, is an example of the combination between architecture and design. Architect M. Elisabetta Ripamonti, founder of SIGNO with designer Alex Terzariol, in her report entitled The Italian Way to the Project - Focus on Hospitality explains how Italian design is not just about lifestyle.
The four cornerstones of the Italian approach to a project includes experimentation and the search for new materials, contact with craftsmen capable of providing tailor-made projects, the combination of humanistic and technical approaches, and the interweaving of tradition and innovation to create new emotions.
