The new exit of the Museum
The visitor’s passageway through the museum is a journey through time, from eternity as recalled in the tombs in the entrance to modern times at the exit of the museum.
Being near the Old Sacristy of the Basilica of San Lorenzo and the Cappella dei Principi becomes an opportunity for a design challenge.
The passage from dark spaces within the crypt to the surface is a voyage from darkness to light, a journey within Dante's memory up to the vision of the stars.
