The interior project for this stunning flat facing Lake Como was inspired by the history and context of its location, remade in a contemporary manner. For a worldly family who often host international guests, the flat was designed by referencing the rich and refined, highly-influential artistic movement of the beginning of the 20th century.
Every space has its own strong color and identity. Bright colors were chosen in connection with the elegance and dynamism of the space. For the children’s rooms and for communal living spaces, timeless and lively furniture was suggested.
A cozy dining room connects to the living room, which allows for easy hosting in an informal atmosphere.
The kitchen is the primary meeting place for the family and so a warm, yet functional space was designed.
Even the bathrooms have color and vitality.
The magnificient views of the lake are always evident from the terrace, which is furnished with a combination of seating and plants, recalling garden villas from Lake Como.
